December 2024 | Three Thrifty Things

TeachingBooks - Teen and Children's Books

Sora - ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and graphic novels (Sora may partner with your child's school!)

Hoopla - audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, TV, magazines, or music

Kanopy - Free streaming for films and documentaries.

LinkedIn Learning - Professional development courses.

Mango Languages - Language learning platform.

TumbleBooks - Digital books for kids.

Tip #2: Stock up on Baking Essentials

I love stocking up on holiday items like baking cocoa and fresh cranberries when they’re at their peak, so I can enjoy them all year long.

In this month's 3T video, I walk you through how I freeze fresh cranberries and orange zest in mason jars so I always have them for my family's favorite Cranberry Oatmeal Bread.

It’s all about getting ahead during the holidays, so you can enjoy your favorite flavors anytime!

Tip #3: How to Make Origami Stars

Origami stars are a great zero-waste craft that can be made with things you already have lying around. These stars make great garlands, ornaments, or gift toppers for the holidays!

Let your imagination run wild

This tutorial can be customized in many different ways by changing up the color of your paper or embellishing your finished stars with other things like beads, buttons, or paint!

If you do follow this tutorial, we'd love to see them! Please tag us on Instagram. ♥
