Refund policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging if it is an item that comes in a package (buttons, patterns, craft kits, etc.) 


To be eligible for an exchange, your items must be defective or damaged upon receiving. We do not offer exchanges or refunds for damages associated with improper washing of fabrics, and always recommend test washing a swatch if you are unsure how to treat your fabric! 

Imperfections not considered eligible for return include:

        • Slubs
        • Minor discoloration on the selvage (discoloration across the body of the fabric is eligible if it has not been disclosed in the listing, but discoloration on the very edges of the fabric is not, since that portion is usually cut off when sewing anyway)
        • Any other minor imperfections related to manufacturing and age. These types of imperfections are a risk when buying any fabric, but particularly vintage ones.

The shop does not take responsibility for shipping costs associated with a return or exchange. If you choose to return an item, only the cost of the item itself will be refunded, and you will be responsible for return shipping.  


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Additional non-returnable items:

        • Gift cards
        • Downloadable software products
        • As-Is items with disclosed flaws 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, they are as follows: 

        • Any item that is not in its original condition (fabrics that have been washed, for example)
        • Any item that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
        • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
        • Any item that has been removed from our website and is subject to restocking fees associated with re-listing the item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the status of your refund. This includes details on whether or not the refund is full or partial. 


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. The refund speed depends on your bank/ the payment method used, and we have no control over how quickly you get it once it is issued. 
 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
