*** Sold by the Yard ***
I've never seen a fabric quite like this. It's a piece of art - a still life with gorgeous muted colors and interesting details. Every time I look at it, I notice a new detail - the partially peeled orange or the tiny broken Robin's egg - it's just lovely.
It measures 37" wide. The repeat is 20.75 inches.
If you order more than one yard, it will ship as one continuous piece.
This little beauty is from the 1950s, but it's right on trend with those soft khaki, teal and blush tones. It has lots of pretty colors and tons of potential.
Condition: Like New
Cotton Chintz (chintz is a polished fabric used for home dec, but if you wash it, it becomes less shiny and is great for quilts or garments)
This is just one piece from a truly remarkable fabric estate that I will be selling over the next several months. The owner has decided it’s time to sell her stash - in her words, “I’ll be 84 this year and it’s probably time I start thinking about being old.” She was an interior designer, weaver and still is an art quilter who works completely outside the box. Her fabric stash is full of bold colors and patterns ranging from 1955 on up through the 1990’s. Keep an eye on this shop for more vibrant, high-quality vintage textiles.
