A People and Their Quilts | Book Box

Details:

Content: This box contains the secondhand book, A People and Their Quilts, by John Rice Irwin. It takes you on a historical journey into the roots of quilting and how it has evolved over the years. We paired this with some abandoned quilt blocks which need a visionary to complete them, a couple of fat quarters which have images of clothing from many different cultures, some solid colored fat quarters, a combination of brightly colored and dark neutral colored quilting scraps, and a spool of Sulky thread to round it off. We are hoping the right person can revive these blocks and honor the person that began them in the spirit of historical preservation.

Note:

*Our book boxes come with an instructional book, magazine or pattern and most of the supplies needed to complete at least one project from the information you learn with the resource.

*The boxes vary widely in subject matter and content, and so the prices will vary as no two boxes will be exactly the same.

*The fabrics included are all either too small for our 2 yd bolt minimum, or they have a flaw of some sort. The fabrics in these bundles are secondhand donations or deadstock from other businesses, with many being quite old. They may have minor stains, discoloration, or fading.
